New song to celebrate Lennon's 70th Birthday
No, this isn't a long-lost Lennon song. This is a demo of a track Martin and I put together in honor of John Lennon’s 70th birthday. We’re both huge Lennon fans, although I am more partial to Lennon’s pre-Beatles/less commercial stuff -- (skiffle!). Anyhow, he was a great man and all that (Lennon, not Martin), so we put together this little ditty for him. That’s Martin on vocals (see why I don’t let him sing more often). Thought about adding some high-pitched baby girl back-up vox, but decided against it. Cheers! -e
